Converting Saiga 7.62x39

I would like to know what you need to do to convert a Saiga in 7.62x39 into a normal looking AKM/AK-47. Aside from the stock, hand guards and grip, what else would have to be changed? Does it take normal AK mags, or is that something that has to be changed? And how much would the conversion parts cost in total? And, how hard is it to do (would I need special tools?)?

on top of the items mentioned you would need a bullet guide to accept non saiga mags and relocate the trigger forward..you could do the conversion for about $150 or less depending on furniture and if you want a muzzle break,tapco trigger group etc.

Cordless drill, a steady hand, the parts and a couple of hours and presto change-o...........your holding pure evil. Don't forget everytime you squeeze a round off.............17 puppys die a horrible painful death, and upon reloading............11 kittens and 19 cute little bunnys are fed into a coffee grinder.
