Wow, I wouldn't expect that from Brownell's at all... maybe if you ordered the 17 round version which is a no go from them. Geesh was it because it is black or what?

Sorry, my bad typo.. Turners price is $529.... the deposit to reserve one is about $170.
      Sorry for the mistake..

Not incompetent, they just don't know cali laws and the work arounds. Not there fault and nor should it be. I would not put my business at risk because of stupid cali laws either. Don't blame Brownells, blame Cali. Also just go to Turners. You can even put money down on one now.
The liberal see's the glass as half full and tries to take more.
The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.
I'm with the people on the side just pouring water in the glass trying to get a drink!

I ordered the one with the 10 round version. Why they even offer a 10 round version if they not willing to ship to ban states?
I am in North CA, the closest Turners is 3 hours away from me. thats 4x3 hours drive. I rather spend the extra $25 for transfer and have it shipped to my local FFL

Ruger is the company offering it with a 10 rounder. Brownell's is just cataloging it.

Give this a try have Ruger Customer Service contact Brownell's and have them explain it's CA legal with the 10rd mag or no mag.

I had an issue with KY Guns not shipping a Heritage Rough Rider birds head grip 22/22magnum to me while I was still in CA. KY claimed it wasn't legal due to the "melting point" laws. I called Heritage they told me there were only 4 states that have "melting point laws" and CA isn't one of them. Heritage contacted KY and educated them then KY shipped the revolver to me.

See if you can get Ruger to do a little education with these ill-informed vendors as obviously other vendors know they are perfectly legal with the 10 rd mag or no mag at all. Wouldn't hurt to try!

The 10 round version doesn't have a threaded barrel.

Can't a CA FFL just keep the included mag?

Yes if they are licensed to deal in Hi Cap mags, which I assume most are.

Guess you missed his post stating that Brownell's are refusing to sell either version to Californians because they wrongly think they are AW's.

It looks like in this video it is stated that Glock 26 mags fit.

Makes it easier to select a pistol for potential CCW use.

Now the question I wonder about is ammo. That NovX ammo looks very interesting!

                                Then don't buy from them?
