Lower parts kit - Is this right?

Ok, so I ordered a lower parts kits a couple days ago and I received it yesterday. It doesn't look like there is a standard magazine release button in the package. Shouldn't I have gotten this? I know I need to install a bullet button (which I bought as well) or some other "like" device for the rifle to be Cali legal but it would be nice to have the regular magazine release button in case I move out of state. It's not a real big deal... just wondering if I'm right. Should I have gotten this?

What brand is it? Are companies leaving them out for Cali sale now?

It's a DPMS. I ordered it from a Cali company so maybe that's why. Not a real big deal... I was just curious. Thanks for the input.

Did you get all the other parts? Just making sure you did not get the repair or spare parts lower kits that some sale. You should have got a mag release.

I didn't check all the parts but it was described as the actual parts kit and it looks like everything else is there...

If he's running a featureless setup it would be pretty crappy not to get one...

I think it was just a mistake from the factory. Why would the seller take the time to remove all of the mag release buttons from the packages. Just call the man. and ask for a replacement. By they way, who else has a drawer full of buttons? : ) Keeping mine just in case though.

You are good to go. Sounds like your LPK got neutered by the supplier. The standard mag release button is a dime a dozen and if you want one bad enough.......heck I will give you one and I live in the Sacto area too boot. I have several bouncing around my growing parts box somewhere!

You will need one of those buttons for a featureless build (mmg or u-15)

Yep, should have been in there. Also, I would want it for when you escape Kalifornistan.

Thanks for the input guys... I'm going to call the company that I placed the order through and see if they'll send me one. I'm in now hurry so waiting is no big deal. And to the shops credit, they were very courteous and prompt with the shipment...
