    Trigger reset issues

    AR
Spikes Lower with Anderson parts kit
If I fire slowly and happen to hold the trigger after the shot it wont reset I have to push it forwar to rest. But if I pull the trigger quickly it resets.

I upinned the lower and compared it to the others I have and it all looks the same.

    Any Ideas?

Springs installed incorrectly or burr on trigger parts. If trigger, a very little work with a stone will help it.

ehh, no. Not for me. If it doesnt work dry, it isnt within spec.

Check your FCG springs and make sure they are correct. Report back. If they are correct, you should replace the fcg with the manufacturer after verifying another fcg works properly. I think your trigger spring is on backwards.

Check that the disconnector movement is free within the trigger. basically you can check movement and it should not bind. check by pulling the trigger and holding it, then push the hammer back all the way down and it will engage the disconnector and hold, then when you release the trigger the hammer should then engage the trigger and the hammer should come up a little. If there is a problem, check the disconnector spring is fully seated in the trigger, check movement of disconnector, and then the trigger spring.

I'm not sure if this is applicable, but I had a similar issue and there were lots of suggestions, and I think I found what was causing the problem.

Sounds like an issue I had with two different lpks from Anderson last year. The hammer had a weird little step in it, a manufacturing defect. I sent both of them to Anderson they said they replaced both Hammers and what I got back was exactly the same. I ended up using a file and getting rid of the little burr.

Burnish the parts together to remove roughness or burrs.
