What Options on pinning LMT SOPMOD stock?

    Hey guys,

I'm interested in pinning my lmt sopmod stock and i'm trying to see how i would go about doing that. There are a few solutions out there for magpul stocks but i'm not sure if these would work as a drop in solution for the sopmod.

    Any ideas?

Pin the stock using a trimmed to fit stainless "T-Nut" sitting in a selected buffer tube detent...

Take out the original adjustment lever spring & selector pin and replace with an appropriate length black allen screw & black nylon washer screwed into the "T-Nut"

This locks the adjustment lever in place but retains the appearance

        Completely reversible in 5 minutes
Requires a tool to make a length of pull adjustments

        $2.05 @ Ace hardware

          Drilling? Tapping?

I pinned my LMT Sopmod stock last year and did so with a nut and bolt.

Find the correct LOP for yourself and remember it.

You simply unscrew the existing bolt and remove the spring/lever/etc. Insert a nut into the grooves of your buffer tube. Run new bolt through your stock where the original one was and screw the bolt into the nut.

          Done.

-Borrowed the idea from another calgunner-

You can just make the strike industries thing yourself in a few minutes using a popsicle stick. Works great and NO PERMANENT holes pins or screws on your stock or buffer tube. Just cut two strips of anything- wood, plastic, popsicle stick, aluminum, - and lay it in the track, exposing just one hole. You can also change your mind later and disassemble it and adjust it to a different length.

Do you have to unscrew the lever to remove the stock?
