    Won't be as accurate as the bolt action, since the rifle is open action.

              I like it. Springfield should evolve a product line off the M1A platform for other calibers and maybe even a lighter version of the opsys for enthusiasts.

              I’d be interested in a polymer stocked 7 pound M1A based 5.56 rifle to go against the mini-14, a proven seller. A 9mm chambered M1 carbine would be very interesting too.
