    AR-15 10.5

AR-15 uppers have been disappearing with all of our panic buyers and it is becoming difficult to find anything.

I currently have an LMT MRP Rifle length and I wanted to get the CQB/Carbine length that LMT makes. A friend of mine is stationed in Tacoma, WA and he said a gun store up there has a LMT MRP CQB in stock but the barrel length is 10.5.

My question is if anyone knows of a company that manufactures fake suppressors that I can have permanently attached on to the 10.5 barrel to make it compliant?

Do I have to have my friend get it done in WA? or can he send it to me then I do it myself? Must I NOT be in possession of a complete lower assembly while in possession of the 10.5 upper?

Correct, if you are in possession of a lower and in possession of a 10.5 inch, regardless of the fact that they are not attached, that is "constructive possession."

However, if you have an Ar pistol, it's ok I think.

I woulnt go thru the trouble for a permanetly attached fake suppressor when you could just get a 16".
Custom built AR 15 uppers in 6.8SPC and 5.56 caliber.

zervaman, you are correct. you must have a ar pistol lower to have a barrel shorter than 16" to be sent to your residence. If you don't u must have the barrel extended prior to be sent here in Kali.

as long as you don't have any AR lowers at all you can have all the short barreled uppers you want.
but if you have any, one of them better be a pistol if you have short barrels around and no SBR stamp/clearance.
