    Yup, you had it set at 1200m No wonder you were WAAAYYYY off. The Mosin sights aren't like US M1903s.

      In my experience all 5 of my Mosins shoot high. With the bayonet on they shoot to the point of aim. Just tried my new hex receiver Mosin today at 100 yards and it shot about 10" high with Polish LB.

        yes i remember every time i wanted to shoot something i had to get in the prone. even when clearing houses.
