    This is a muzzle brake, right?



    Looks like one to me, but not really something I want to be wrong on.

                    If it's sold as a brake, then you're most likely good to go. However, I'd keep a copy of their web page or catalog page for the brake so you can show it in case you need to. I have one of DD's anti-climb mitigators which is fine as well, but I keep a folded copy of their web page in the case with the rifle.

                      It's heavy and works very well, sucks to be the guy off to the side though, it's loud as heck.

                        Yup. I've been the guy off to the side. Loud as heck and you feel the blast. I took off my brake and put on a thread protector.
