    Magazine Shipping

Just a thought. I know you'll all know what I'm getting at.

Can a company legally ship a 30 round Magazine body to California?

I can legally own a 30 round mag due to my proffession, but have a really hard time getting the particular ones I want without ordering them. Problem is that none of the companies I've tried to order from are willing to ship to Ca. Searching the internet, I noticed you can buy mag bodies (I'm sure you all knew that, I didn't). Got an email into a couple of companies, but in these times, they are not replying very quickly. The only one to answer was an individual who said he was not comfortable as he did not know the law in Ca.

So, is it legal for them to ship?

Where are you located? There are many FFL who got "large capacity magazine" permit, they can order and sell those to you.

Cool thanks. I'm up around Susanville. Just really didn't want to drive very far to get mags. Especially since I don't need them on an emergency basis.

I am in the same boat. yes there are multiple shops who stock and sell high capacity magazines to people who are allowed to own them. I am in southern california and there are a bunch around here.

If you want to order via internet many companies will ship them either if you fax them your credentials or if they can ship them to your business address if it is for example a police station

Thanks everybody. I guess I should limit my search to Ca. companies and just fax my ID.

And I'm looking for 6.8 mags in stainless steel.
