      As well as these:

Sabre Defence AR-15 A3 Flattop Upper Assembly 223 Remington 1 in 8" Twist 24" Fluted Bull Barrel Stainless Steel uppers.

Not down with the SS barrel finish. I like matte finishes. I wonder how long till both are out of stock lol.

They are Gone The .223 rem uppers will still work with a 5.56 lower won't they ??

Yes, the only difference should be the chamber and possibly the barrel. 5.56 can fire .223 ammo fine, but .223 can't necessarily fire 5.56.

What I'm unclear on is why you'd ever want a .223 chamber... does a 5.56 chamber sacrifice accuracy when using .223 ammo or something? I'll have to do some research...

Yes, in short. Not to get too deep, but the gap between the bullet and the rifling is too long when you pop a 223 rem in a 556 chamber. You can shoot it, but accuracy shot to shot drops off. Thats why I purchased a Wylde chambered upper. Happy medium between to the two if accuracy is somewhat of an issue to you. Obviously if your in the accuracy game your going to by an upper chambered in either 223 rem or 556 depending in what you want to shoot. I got the Wylde chambered upper so I can buy whatever I can get my hands on, and I am thankful for it considering the sales crush we are going through right now.

That Sabre upper is a monster. Probably weigh's eight pounds all by itself.

The difference in the 5.56 chamber is slightly different. It can accept the NATO round so it's made to handle higher chamber pressures. Compared to the 223 Remington chamber is set-up more as a pure target rifle in mind. The upper in question is set-up more as a varmint rifle cuz one can put on a scope.

                              Your lower should fit well.
