Hello, I've been looking at vz58s recently. Here's a whole bunch of questions about them.... Are there any things a noob should know? Are any variants better than others? Where is a good place to find California mags for the VZ? How will it perform compared to an AK? Is it true you can use SKS stripper clips?

In Ca or anywhere else with detachable magazine restrictions, it loads from stripper clips. No bullet button needed.

Love mines (Have 3 of them) - they are really light compared to the AK. Customization/Furniture options are somewhat limited. Magazines will be hard to source - esp. 10/30s. Czechpoint USA sells 10 rounders, but they are expensive.
