Hey my fundamentals seem to be off. Any suggestions on good books for pistol, rifle target shooting? You can throw trap in also. Thanks.

Two words: Appleseed Project.

They'll teach you everything you need to know to qualify as rifleman on the Army Qualification Test.

Fredsm14stocks.com sells the targets and the book that covers everything they teach at the Appleseed events, but it's better to go in person and have their instructors spot you for your errors. I just went this past weekend and found that I've deteriorated quite a bit in prone and sitting/kneeling but have improved dramatically in standing offhand. No big surprise there--if you don't use it, you lose it, and all my practice as of late has been in standing.

April 19th, there's going to be ten Appleseed events all over Calif. thanks to it being a very special anniversary...

That's what I thought - I was going to recommend "It Takes A Village" which I saw at Goodwill for .50 earlier today.
