Yes. After 600 rounds, EXACTLY, my AR 15 polymer lower died. Fractured diagonally right in front of the buffer catch.
No. Not getting another one. Not going back to the manufacturer. Aluminum from now on. I am meticulous about the way I take care of my firearms. Never abused nor dropped. I believe polymer in this specific application, cannot handle sharp impulse loading. Glock gets it right.....moot point. Not going back.
So, what do I do with the broken lower? Next "gun" buy back hand-in? Proceed to LE and turn it in as a non-functional firearm? I don't know the process.
