Not the cheapest, but I think it's the best.

I use a Multitasker v2 I got through Brownells a couple of years ago. It has been a real lifesaver on several occasions when I was in a class or training scenario's and other students weapons had malfunctions. Instructor liked it so much he tried to get me to donate it to the class No such luck, it lives in my gear bag and he can get his own. Brownell's has been sold out of them for a while.

I have a MUT (non EOD). Eh. Very pricey. Only got it through work.
I prefer a the Wave for a much more utilitarian tool.
I keep a Klein 11n1 driver in my range bag.

I only shoot on BLM so I usually take my toolbox if I think I may need it.
Only time I've needed to "adjust" I knew what I would need before I went out. ie scope, front sight, gas block..

Multi-tool, mini ratchet and a few common sockets, & Visine-sized bottles of CLP and oil. I used to bring armorer's tools but I never used them at the range and they took up valuable space in my bag. I feel like I already bring enough crap with me.
