    Bear Creek Arsenal..anygood?

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone has experience with Bear Creek Arsenal barrels. Thinking about getting one for my rifle build. Thanks for any input.

I researched them and found a number of negative reviews on YouTube. I don't have any personal experience but it made me reconsider whether to get one up.

I am in the same boat as saber, no experience, just a lot of bad reviews. I decided not to go cheaper than PSA for a budget build.

I have a side charging upper from them. I love it i know they have some negative press but their customer service was awesome and i am enjoying their product without any complaints.
I would recomend them to you.

No experience with them but have read as many bad reviews as good reviews. Keep in mind (regarding bad reviews of any product) how long they've been in business. I read many reviews on products yet businesses have been around for 10..15..20+ years; so they must be doing something right.

They are prolly the best $75 AR barrels out there.

If you are looking to get LaRue, BCM, Colt, DD or other any other top shelf AR barrel accuracy out of it you may be a little disappointed. In other words don't compare them to a $350+ barrel.

With that said some have found GREAT accuracy out of BCA barrels so your mileage may vary.

I bought one of their complete 223 Wylde ar15 uppers years ago and it works great.

my expierance as a ffl with them. did a featureless conversion from a fixed mag rifle. flash hider was finger tight. pistol grip screw came off with no resistance. M4 buffer tube castle nut was slightly more than finger tight. barrel nut was at minimum spec..at best...checked it just in case, gas tube retaining pin wasnt fully seated in hole..finish was ok. fit was ok. internal parts..dubious manufacture. looked like some of the import parts but cant be sure. hand guards fit ok. was a gritty feeling in the bolt carrier while charging the rifle. its a entry level rifle. Needs adjusting. Needs to be checked. Ive only dealt with a few but all were similar builds.

I bought a cheap upper from the gun show that has one of their 24" bull barrels just because the price was so good. Shoots sub moa with off the shelf Hornady Vmax 55gr. Wont win a beauty contest but surprisingly it shoots very well.

I appreciate the input guys, but I have decided to go with Odin Works. I know that is a big jump, but I've been deliberating several different companies and I got a deal I couldn't refuse. Just trying to get the funds together now.
