Lower Receiver has no detent hole

I have an early model POF P415 lower and noticed that there'e no hole drilled for the detent and spring to go into. Is that a defect? How's the take down pin supposed to stay put?

Actual picture? From what you say, yes it's a defect. That sucks, hope it gets worked out.

is there a second hole drilled vertically up into the lower through the pistol grip overhang, near the selector detent hole but under the takedown pin hole? AR10-style lowers and some others have the detent hole there.

The pic is just for reference and not my actual lower. Looking into the take down pin hole, there's no exit hole for the detent to pop out from any direction. There is a divot where the hole is supposed to be, but I don't know why it's not drilled all the way through.

                QC

If true, it sounds like POF has some QC issues
