So last year I got a Volquartsen Evolution as a work bonus. Nice looking rifle and I can use my AR high caps. On my 2nd trip to the range the bolt disintegrated and the whole rifle had to be sent back to Volquartsen. They repaired it and next trip to the range - broken extractor. Two out of three trips to the range = disaster.
I called, they say they'll send the part. Two weeks - no part. Call them and "Oh ya - we wondered why those parts were sitting in shipping". Parts arrive, the extractor's fine. The pins they were supposed to send - they sent the wrong ones.
Why did I need a replacement pin? Because when the repaired it the first time, they forgot to reinsert the front pin holding in the trigger housing unit. They sent pins for a 22 lr instead.
Is this typical of Volquartsen? I really expected a heck of alot more from the gun and the company.
