Old Mosin rifles with new stocks?

How accurate are they? There's a large aftermarket following for those old surplus guns, so they must be pretty decent shooters. The appeal of putting together a nice scoped rifle for about $600 in total is definitely good reason to do one. What say yall?

I think the following for mosins is due to the fact that they are relatively inexpensive and cheap to shoot, compared to other larger centerfire calibers.

The finn mosins are supposed to be the most accurate of the bunch if you really want to go down that route.

Although, truth be told, there are other more accurate milsurps if that is what you are looking for in a scoped rifle. My buddy recently picked up a swede mauser which is pretty darn nice and accurate.

The Swiss K31 is supposed to be very accurate also, but the ammo is not cheap.
