When did the 10 round shorty come out ? I've only seen the 15 rounders that short.
I missed the smily face ,you must be LEO.

              $475 for the upper.
              $29 for the MOE handguards.
              $129 for the optics.
              $20'ish for the taclatch.
That's the run-down on prices for the upper.

Yes, it's a little bit pricey, but not too bad. After the first 2000 rounds of .22, it'll practically be paid for compared to 5.56. Plus, the gun has the weight, heft, balance, and feel of a standard 5.56 rifle. I like this part for practicing.

And HELL YES that's purple velvet

The 10rd shorty's are available directly from Black Dog. Not sure if 44mag carries them yet.

Yes, I have hi-cap mags for this gun. No, I am not LEO. Many moons ago I had a Bushmaster AR, along with a .22 conversion kit and a boatload of hi-cap mags for both 5.56 and .22lr. I made the stupid mistake of selling off the Bushmaster before I had a chance to register it as an AW. I have never sold off a hi-cap mag in my life though, just stockpiled them

Anyways, I've started rebuilding the crappy old Ciener mags into black-dog's.

Sweet gun. I was thinking of doing a rimfire upper. Hell, with the price of ammo and I can ditch the BB, its a win-win

Excellent build, really like the shorty mag and the Magpul MOE handguards.

How much wiggle does the moe stock have? I had one and was not satisfied. It was very loose.

Not too much. I didn't want to swing for the CTR since it was just a .22 build. It's surprisingly tight without the locking mechanism of the CTR.
