Recommendation for an AR15 lightweight 16" mid gas barrel

I'm looking for a higher quality ar-15 lightweight profile 16" barrel with mid length gas and M4 feed ramps. I just need the barrel. Anyone have any recommendations for one of these?

Might want to at least look at. Lilja. The 16" M-4 is in stock.

The site says the barrels are in .223 caliber only with wylde throat.

Is'nt it true that wylde throat barrels can take 5.56 type ammos?

Thanks for the recommendations guys I'll take a hard look at both JP and Lilja.

Gemini1 - Wylde chambers should shoot both 5.56 and .223 just find.

Check with ar15barrels for his valuable input. He is as we say a guru on AR-15 barrels and is a wealth of info if you would like a definitive answer, but it's only an opinion and you have to be happy with what you get.

                I can't see that they offer a lightweight contour...am I missing something.

For OP, bushmaster makes a very nice lw barrel, but it's carbine length.

I'd echo contacting ar15barrels, use pm.

When you say "lightweight," what do you mean? What kind of build are you making?

CMMG has the longest list of barrel profiles in mid-length.

If you can beg, borrow or slut yourself to getting a Noveske RECCE...

The other option you have is getting something heavier and have Randall profile it down and repark. I'm assuming a chrome-lined chrome-moly, as SS would be heavier.
