Fixed mag devices.

Which one of these fixed mag devices do you guys think is the best? I have to convert a 14.5 inch welded flash hider upper. It's on my favorite AR. I'm not going to remove the flash hider so I can make it featureless because I can't. Have any of you tried these devices and what do you recommend?

I like the one that replaces the bolt stop the best, but I'm mostly just trolling ARmaglock...

What feeding issues with fixed mag? It's about loading speed, which mean arms and a few other speed loaders have helped. The issue with fixed mag was wear and tear on the lower reloading and speed of reloading. Speed loaders fix that. The only other real issue is a double feed or a bolt staying back in a dirty gun

A warning: even with one of the devices installed, if you close the action without a magazine you now have a SACF featured rifle without a fixed magazine, aka an AW.

Make sure you don't close the action without a magazine installed.

That's what I think the people backing featureless were referring to. Is it as big a deal as they make it out to be?

It can be if you have a poorly maintained/dirty or poorly put together fire arm.

I'm no expert but I have 2 AR platforms with 20k plus rounds through them. I'm not concerned 70k .223/556 ro8mds.downrange ballpark anfnim going fixed mag with mime. If I didn't have kods, I just would.not comply.

While they are busy disassembling the bottom of their mag, fumbling with that malfunction and worrying about accidentally closing the action and making an AW, I will be dumping more mags downrange.

DFM fixed mag with a Mean Arms loader. If you have a double feed, dump the magazine from the bottom.
AR mag lock, if you have a double feed, you take the mag lock off, using the supplied allen wrench. With the lock off, the mag will not stay in place.
