Does anyone here with SU-16 exprience have anything negative to say?

Thank you CG I kind of thought thats the way to go, I just was hesitating because it seemed an awkward system but I guess it is the best way to go.

You are welcome. With the exception of Boresnake (which I personally don't use), the Otis is about the least awkward system I know, especially for an AR type weapon.

Anyone else seen the SU-16D 14" 16" Barrels. Does anyone know whether or not it will be allowed in So. Cal.?

The SU-16D is not CA legal. Firstly is the barrel that is shorter than 16 inches would make it a SBR, and class III weapons are illegal in California. Secondly is the folding stock they have on the D model would also make it illegal.

I'm sure many of us could get full auto toys no questions asked. I know I can. There is a difference though, we are good people. As stupid as the laws are, we follow them. I just wish the gov would see that all gun laws are only stopping us good people from getting the so-called "evil" iteams.

So true. I'm sure all of us belonging to the gun culture could get their hands on or modify to full auto, silencers, AOW's, and destructive devices, the difference is that most og the gun owners are law abiding citizens, and would not think of doing any of these things, because we have to much to lose, whereas your garden variety criminal, has been in and out of prison all his life, and thinks nothing of breaking these laws, knowing that he will be out in a few months or years if he gets caught. Hence these3 senseless anti Second Amendment laws are accomplishing what they want them too. Complete and total gun confiscation, so that only the animals that are more equal will have the power.(a reference to Orwells Animal Farm)
The Politicians are not stoopid, it is the sheeple who seem to want to be controlled by them. I think the goal of every America loving gun owner should be to educate those around us, and teach them the fun and joy of our sport/hobby.
