So far it works great, and exactly as advertised. You CAN insert a magazine with it closed.

We have had a unique opportunity to try out a lot of these devices, so if you guys have questions, fire away.
Thanks, ill be ordering one up

Your solution can be modified to have an option to remove the mag after action is open. When I looked I thought you got the same solution I have (:-. I'll post it later with working sample.

I can see it in my head. Nice work!

I'm not 100% convinced that hogue's plunger will positively prevent the mag release from being pushed in enough to prevent the from being mag pulled out. There's a bit of play in the mag release assembly and that plunger has such a small amount of material blocking the release.

I also love how the video shows a bunch of aluminum shavings dropping into the trigger group!

I still most impressed with mshill's method. Again, awesome and thank you for sharing! I'm supposed to do this mod to one of my friends guns this weekend.

              No.

Do you really want to register your rifle as an assault weapon?

Of course not. Why not give featureless another look?

                  My rifle is featurelsss

But if my rifle was a clone of something yeah I'd drill it instead of making it look like a CA abomination

Thanks for taking the time for a useless interjection to this discussion

Right. Why do people not understand that there are some things that cannot be made featureless? (AR/AK Pistols)

I wonder if this will work on Sig 556 rifles. Seems like a slick solution, although I'm not excited about drilling holes...

Also wonder if it will work on AR-10 platform rifles, or if there is anything out there that will.

Yup. I have a pistol and an AR15 6.5 Grendel with a 24" barrel that I prefer to be able to use the pistol grips properly. Therefore featureless in NOT the best option.

I'm just glad we have options.

I just installed this one on my AR pistol, I have a Hogue, also that I might put on a couple of 80%. Sorry guys I just can't roll with the featureless. Plus.. all my barrels are pinned with flash hiders and I really don't feel like trying to find someone to remove them and add MBs. My non-home builds will get an ARmaglock

I'm going to to try this on a few lowers.
