Just get my LWRC 6.8 Ar upper, and just like to know what ammo do most people use ( Reminton, Sierra)? Thank you

Silver State Armory Combat Loads, that upper begs for those... unless your running hand loads...

I dont mean to hijack the thread but 4thSeal, Hodgdon lists max gr for 115gr at 28.2. There is no danger going over? I am about to load some up. I have all the componets and plenty of H322 and some 748.

Depends on your chamber & barrel twist. I've loaded 29.0 gr. H322 behind 110gr. Pro Hunters and got flattened prinmers & mild ejector swipes with SAAMI chamber & 1-11" twist. But with SPCII or DMR chambers & 1-10 or 1-11 twist barrels you can run compressed loads w/o any pressure signs. As always, carefully work up to max loads.

OP : +1 for Silver State Armory ammo. Well worth the extra money.

it is going to depend on what chamber you have joe... 29 is what tons of people are using.

LWRCs have a new spec chamber that allows for higher powder loads without over pressuring.

I have no signs of over pressuring with 29... but work up if you are unsure. I just loaded 29 myself since it was all the cool kids were doing

Infact if you contact SSA for combat load ammo they question you on what upper / chamber you are shooting.

If LWRC has SPCII chamber specs, you can run SSA Combat Loads.

I use White Oak Armament 6.8SPCII 16" barrels on my Addax 6.8 Gas Piston Uppers and I have tested them with SSA's 115 Grain OTM Combat Loads, with no issues.

Contact Silver State Armory and they can help you out.

            Good Luck.

You might want to check out LWRC's forum. The people there can tell you the best ammo to use.
