    Rem 700 stainless barrel paint

I'm thinking of purchasing a Rem 700 5R, but it has a stainless barrel on it, which I can't stand. Does anyone know how much it would cost to paint? Also, what kind of paint job should I be looking for? Duracoat, powder, cerakote, etc. Thanks in advance.

I had mine ceracoated. Avg price $225. But I took mine apart and reassembled myself.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.

avg 225? I'd rather do alumahyde and bake.
