    PA-10 Gen-2 vs Gen-1 and other PA-10 questions

I'm talking complete uppers . I have there original stripped lower and want to know if the Gen-2 upper will mate with the first lowers they sold as PA-10 ?

I've heard guys having chamber issues with the first gen PA-10 uppers . Did they address this issue or any other specific issue with the new Gen 2 versions ?

I'm going to put a Magpul rifle length MOE stock on it . I know I need a rifle length buffer tube but not sure about the buffer and spring . The reviews on the PSA Rifle buffer tube assembly are mixed with one guy saying it's completely wrong and he had to put a carbine spring in it to get it to cycle correctly ????? Not sure if it was the product or the nut behind the wheel .

From my experience with PA-10s, and admittedly it is limited to about 4, was that chambering issues were often the result of an overly stiff extractor spring. Which would not allow the extractor to slip over the case rim. This was easily fixed by using an AR15 spring.
I do know that on my particular PA-10, the chamber throat was a bit shorter than a standard .308Win throat, which is easily fixable.

This is the upper I'm looking at

How ever I'm debating on building out the 308 or buying a new (bigger ) gun safe .
