Seems like a reasonable "break open" option to consider: push button versus pull a pin and interior button for mag release. At least allows adjustable stock, thumb hole and forward pistol grip.

Not for serious use, and I don't have the time and money to spend on Rube Goldberg range toys.I meant, it is my opinion that...

I would advise violence. - M. Gandhi

And you know that because you have run a couple thousand rounds through one, like I have? With a little practice I am actually faster at mag changes with the brake action, than I was with a bullet button. Plus you are not hunting around for a bullet.
Elemental break actions serve double duty because you can run it as is, or run it in featureless mode and just add a mil spec mag catch.
In featureless mode it just gives you a quick way to flip open the upper, for clearing, cleaning etc.
Then if you get tired of the akward featureless stock and grip, you can run it in break action mode for good range shooter.Comment
