load development in the rain. Worth it?

I'm thinking about going to the range tomorrow to develop some loads for my Ar-30. .338 lapua mag. It's going to be raining, and I was wondering if the rain might affect this caliber. I would think not because a 250 grain bullet is pretty heavy. I'll only be shooting at 100-200 yards. Basically, will the rain affect accuracy at a short distance with a .338??

It's not the rain in the air affecting the bullet that you have to worry about. It's the moisture in the air that's in the chamber with the cartridge that can cause big problems. The moisture in effect causes a tighter chamber thereby causing higher than normal pressures. In other words, an otherwise normally safe load could turn out not to be safe (worst case).

I didn't load any max loads, so i'm assuming I'll be fine.
