    Moe Rifle stock and Hammerhead

Hi all. I am working on my second build and was looking at the Magpul Moe rifle stock and the hammerhead. I was curious if anyone has done then configuration? Curious if there are any pics of it? I did some searching on here and google but couldn't find anything. Thank you in advance.

Yea. From what I saw it looks good. But just curious if I'll be able to wrap my thumb around the hammerhead

Heres the Hammerhead/MOE setup I use, works fine, but no its not possible to wrap thumb around. with some other stock options its possible but not comfortable.

If you insist on a "wrapped" grip, buy a thordsens setup.

"Looks" are subjective, but controlling your firearm is far more important than if something looks "tactical"

Edit: and to be clear I have the Magpul MOE "Carbine" stock

Pin your adjustable stock so that it no longer is adjustable. I have tried the Hammerhead, Grip Fin, Headbutt, and Thorsden. The Thorsden is my favorite, but the Hammerhead with a stock that allows a thumb around the top would be a close second.

True, very true. Wasn't going for the "tacticool" look. Trying to find something that I think would function well for me.

There are 2 attachment options for the Magpul Carbine Fixed stock. You can get your thumb around with this attachment option.

I had mine like this for a little bit, works, but not that comfortable. If you have large hands might not work as well, I wear a medium glove and there wasn't a ton of free space for my thumb.

Edit: I see you were actually asking about the MOE Rifle stock... you won't be able to get your thumb over the hammerhead with that stock.

The more I look and read the rifle stock and HH seems less of an idea. Maybe I'll just suck it up and go for it. Maybe one of the other options might work. Btw I wear an XL glove. So if I want to get a grip I'll need plenty of room

That's the way I have mine. Cut a small piece of foam (like what you might have for a pistol tube) and put it over the locking ring and its super comfortable. I don't wear gloves for shooting.

Foam isn't a bad idea if I decided to go no rifle stock.
Or possibly finding and old A2 stock and see if I can modify so I can wrap around the HH
