There are several for sale by a well known vendor in similar shape with bayos attached for $450. You're missing the bayo, so that is a knock, the box adds value. But, I'd think if someone were to offer you $450, you should take it. Box would add value to a collector, but still missing the bayo is gonna be tough for higher unless it was very special, which this doesn't seem to be. $550 is high in my opinion. You could get a Russian with the bayo for that price. Good luck

I know wierd top cover . All three are like that. I even open one I have still in the box, same thing ?????

The plastic ribbed handguard is correct and a desirable trait on late model Norincos. $450 would be a fair price.

It looks clean. Can't tell if it is number matching but it looks like a threaded barrel with short lug and stamped trigger. It's probably a good shooter and a nice Norinco SKS sample.

It's all matching. Stock also serial numbered to the weapon. Bolt matching also. Like new. Unfired .

When I saw the tickler handguard with the second set of photos a I thought to myself do I really want another Chicom SKS?.... Or rather do I really NEED another Chicom SKS... Common sense: Yes and No

I've got 5 boxes that were given to me (green ammo boxes top) from my uncle. He's had them since the early 80's.
