NOOB QUESTION ABOUT COLT 6920 RAIL REMOVAL

Before I didn't have tools or a workbench so I paid the gun store to put on a daniel defense rail to replace the old hand guard. How do I remove the rail so I can remove the barrel? I removed the 4 little screws and tried to pull back the circle thing, but man that thing is hard to keep pulled back. Can someone please help? Thanks in advance!!

You want to remove the barrel? If so that's a lot more work than taking the handguards off. If you just want the handguard off then as above pull hard down on the ring.

It's call a Delta Ring... Pull harder, you won't break it. But if you didn't eat your Wheaties, go get this tool...

and if the DD is free float you may need to shim the gas block.
primer, powder, projecile, press, load, fire repeat!
