    Stuck safety round..

Well this is a new one for me, was checking function with a .556 safety round (Strike Industries ) and it would not eject. Now it's wedged in there. Anyone experience that with their AR? Possible sign of a mechincal fault?
Recently was at range, zero issues.

It is plastic and malleable. Punch it out with a cleaning rod and throw it away.

Just push it out with a cleaning rod from the muzzle end.

Yeah that was me trying grasp it with tweezers...don't have a rod handy right now to push it out.
Not really worried, just never seen this before.

Use your Strike Industries vape to smoke it out!

Someone said if you spray WD40 around it, it'll make it so that the round becomes live and you can shoot it out.

Switch to Snap cap. Metal. Works.

Try blowing really hard into the muzzle end. Lol. A cleaning rod or any other non marring type rod should pop it right out.

                          Take proper precaution!

First thing I'd do is take the firearm out to the desert to ensure you don't go shooting someone or something!

Second, remove the handguard to begin disassembly of your gas block, tube, and barrel!

To be extra safe, I'd go further to remove the pistol grip, safety selector, and trigger group to ensure you don't have a negligent discharge...remember treat every weapon as if it were loaded!

While doing all this, notify the DOJ in the event that you may need to destroy said firearm. Can never be too cautious.

Make sure you order pizza too, and drink a red bull! Don't want to be too tired or too hungry while fixing your AR.

Btw, when and where will you be doing all this so we can make it a calguns get-together! BYOB

You know what, it'll be a hassle going through everything I told you so better yet, I'll PM you my address and you can send it to me for proper disposal.

Drop it on the carpet, permanently disabled firearm.
