Leupold IMS 2 scope mount on a Colt 6920

Hey all,

Does anybody know if the Leupold IMS 2 mount will work on a Colt 6920 (fixed front post sight) as far as height is concerned? Will it co-witness with a Leupold Mark AR 1.5-4x20 scope?

Well you are certainly not the first person to try this.

Sorry it's hard to find that exact scope/mount combo on a flat top with a fixed fsb(and a sight picture!)

Don't do it. It won't co-witness correctly because of the magnification. I've tried it with my 1.25x4 leupold vxr. Did it for sh*** and giggles before I swapped out to a low pro GB
