Don Gussler of Gusslers in San Diego is the match statistician for the navy matches. He can direct you to an entry form via a web link or you can look at post two, get the form, and mail it to Don.
This is a great match, the folks are super nice, and its run like a clock.

Here's the link. Forget the boiler plate. It's a standard eic match. Well run. Organized. Lots of shooters who actually don't like to shoot so it's easy to pick up points towards your distinguished badge.

Honestly, I've been on this forum after it was highly recommended to me from a gun store owner.


I would never join you guys in any form of gathering ever. you're quite literally the least welcoming and most insulting group of gun owners I have ever met.

If this is the attitude that represents the calguns foundation, i sincerely hope that it fails, because you people aren't representative of what i consider good gun people. You guys make the rest look bad.

FYI, I've never shot there, other than as a Marine in basic training and qualifying every year. I have no affiliation with SMGC.

Oh. Well, there ya go. Sorry to hear that Calguns members were rude to you. I just attended a SDMUST event and it was great.

I'm sorry if someone offended you. There are some strong opinions here. No question. If you think this is bad, try Snipershide. That is a tough damn group of guys. I have to say, whenever there is a Calguns event, the guys I meet are pretty cool. The guys at the ranges are pretty cool too. I hope you don't write us off too soon.

This isn't a Calguns event. It's US navy event. That said, I've made a LOT of friends through Calguns. Yes, the forum can get a bit rough, but that's just mall ninja crap from some immature idiots or guys with testosterone poisoning. Now if you were talking about snioershide I'd agree. They suck. The owner needs some manners too but that's how they roll over there. And that's why they're failing too.

Further, this is not a Santa margarita gun club event either. SMGC is definitely one of the most laid back rifle clubs in the universe. I'm not saying they can't shoot, they shoot tremendously well, but in a very relaxed manner.

I'm not sure where all your angst is coming from OOO but I'd appreciate it if you vented it on some other thread.
