Whenever I post to someone it is not only to address their remarks but to possibly help others who may not be as well-versed in the subject matter.

        Does that make sense?

Also, my Colt M4 Expanse does indeed have F marked front sights, I can confirm that.

My experience with that carry handle seller must have been an anomaly or he really hadn't lifted it from a Colt. I doubt the latter- he had high feedback and volunteered to refund my money.

I like carry handle sights. Accurate, simple. $50 is good. I have a stag arms detachable that costs $110. Only forge mark is a square on the right side. Not even military

Preference. I have both mil-spec and commercial and like the commercial better because I don't like the ears stick up high when I set the lowest elevation knob to 2 clicks up.

It may not be 'military' but I would venture to guess that it is 'mil-spec', yes?

I just feel that one can't go wrong due to the build quality of mil-spec handles. Look at the photos in post #7. It's built like a tank.

And if it is not advertised as 'mii-spec' it probably isn't.

Later: I now see the Stag handles as 'military style' on their website. Hhhhmmmm....

So do I. Plus, I love the look of an M4 with a carry handle. It's classic and pure.

                  Reference post #7.

Received the UTG Pro Milspec Carry Handle today. It's pretty much indistinguishable from a new USGI Colt handle, but for the UTG logo.

However, they do differ in a side by side comparison. See post #9 here: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s....php?t=1323754

Very pleased, brand new, no imperfections, just lubed it up a bit. It has the UTG warranty. Was able to use the set screw for IBZ no problem. BAFE square forge. Made in USA. Recommend!

In photos, elevation wheel is bottomed out at 6/3-4 for IBZ. Bottomed out the sight 'ears' are situated slightly above the carry handle.
