    C93 - Trouble removing bullet button ?? - SOLVED

    Hi everyone,

Im going featureless on my C93. Just received the original magazine release kit, and got a Manticore Arms HK Brake and Munkeeboi Grip Wrap already installed.
I cant figure out how to remove this bullet button though... any tips? Or suggestions on somewhere I can take it in the Temecula area?

Basically loosen that set screw and things should start falling apart.

Thank you, I did see that thread. It looks like mine is installed upside down compared to the way that one is done. Im ready to just cut the dang thing off!

Push the button in and rotate catch to access the set screw.

Thanks very much for the help Onikoroshi. I saw what you were saying and it did work. The two snap rings were preventing the button from depressing enough to clear the receiver when I tried to rotate the catch. I didnt have to right size snap ring pliers, so I just ripped em out with pliers.. that did the trick though. I was able to rotate the catch and get an allen into the set screw and it all came apart after that.

Got the standard mag release installed and now

What kind of scope mount do you have on it?

Its an MFI mount, really like it but might sell it.. just dont shoot this enough to justify dedicating an optic to it.

Thanks for the fast response. I am on the fence as to mount an optic on mine either, as this gun wasn't exactly designed to be used with an optic.

Pit a vortex sparc 2 on it. I have one on my c308 sporter and it works great

                        Really appreciate the help!

I have a couple of the MKE Turkish Magazines.

Had to open the latch point up a little with a dremel, but they lock in fine now and function perfectly, and look better than the huge 40 rounders!
