What are you guys thinking about the Hara CQR Stock ? ? ? ?

Looking at the stock grip combos that we can now use. I hear the CQR is very will made and does not look that bad.

What do you guys think of them those of you that have seen them.

    Thanks.

I bought one, and like it. If you have a Turners near you that would be a good place to check it out. I have questions about the removal of the metal plate blocking the thumb hole. The torx screws feel a little scary trying to remove them.

Also another option that I have in stock is the BOAR Grip.

What is the LOP of the CQR stock? My wife likes a short LOP and typically sets her Magpul CTR on the 2nd position. Is the CQR much longer than this?

It is a bit on the short side for me. I have one on a partial build. I think I'm going to take out the center block plate and run a Franklin DFM fixed magazine on that rifle.

I do not care for the centralized block-plate. I'm right handed and it does not offer enough thumb rest area. If the plate was left side of the stock, it would be much better...

There is an optional spacer kit that comes with 3 different inserts to change the stock length, for about $12.

I haven't shouldered the Hera stock, but the angle at the back looks more upright than what I'm used to with my Magpul. I also noticed that the grip sits at a more backward angle than a standard grip.

For those who have actually held one, how well does it roll to the shoulder, and how does that grip angle feel to you?

Have not shot mine yet but I like it so far. The plate isn't too hard to remove but the screws are a little finicky.

For a featureless stock it seems nice enough.

My girl installed one on her Spike's Tactical 'Black Assassin' rifle. She and I both like it. However, length of pull is pretty short. Get the spacers, if you can find them.

Installed it, shot it, enjoyed my free dropping mag.

I originally have my magpul CTR-L on the 2nd rung so my nose is almost touching my charging handle (I'm using Aimpoint CompML3) but this stock easily put me back a few inches *shrug* guess it wasn't that big of a change.
