I want to take Daniel defense to range but...

Bought it last November with Bullet Button etc. New rifles in store now have that new lock crap per current laws.

Can I take my DD to range in its current config? My friend said I had till 2018, but I'd like to make sure here first.

    Thanks.

Everyone in my area except 2 two others I've seen has been using a BB still. You should have no issues.

I was at Sunnyvale Rod yesterday. The only question asked by another shooter was how I liked the Hammerhead grip.

I'm curious too, I got it around the same time last year and have only gone shooting with it once, which is a damn shame because it's my first gun and I really like it. From what I've gleaned, it should be okay but I still don't want to take a risk. That being said, if I do go, should I remove the foregrip at the very least? Because we all know how diligent and up-to-date some people are about our current gun laws.

Do whatever makes you feel comfortable. Personally, I wouldn't bother removing it. Everyone is so afraid of what "could happen" when as far as I know, no one has ever had any issues. I'm not a bad ***. Far far from it, but stop living in fear.

I was at Lytle creek today, plenty of them out there including myself.

Alright, I'll give it a try next week. I'll give an update if anything happens.

from what I've seen no one really cares what configuration your rifle is in, majority of the people at the range are just there to enjoy their own rifles. so i say shoot on!

We have until the end of 2017 to register our BB rifles. Registration isn't even available yet. Go out to the range and shoot your rifle.

                            Ironic post.

I was at a range last week and was blown away by the stuff I saw. Bayonets on 2 M1A. A couple of SBR's. Guy with a suppressor. On my way out I asked the range officer what his thoughts were. He said "I'm not law enforcement".
