Can someone help me out with the legislation regarding serializing my home made firearms? From what I can tell AB 857 says that any gun made before July 2018 can have a custom serial number, and maker info. My question is that if I apply my own serial number onto my rifles, do I have to send anything into the DOJ?
Secondly, my son has made his own firearms, would he have to do the same?
