Anyone else notice that Bushmaster is offering a new rifle and cartridge this fall? The .45 Bushmaster upper will give us yet another interesting big bore AR-15 option. What's really interesting about .45 Bushmaster though is that the only difference between a 9 round .45 Bushmaster magazine and a 30 round .223 magazine is the follower...

The new .45 Bushmaster cartridge is being co-developed by Hornady. This should make it an interesting choice as a hog gun.Comment

As long as I can load that round with the same .452 dia bullets I'm happy.I wonder if bushmaster will sell the whole mag with the follower. if its 9 rounds then we should be able to order them with that follower.

I'm sure they'll be selling the dies as soon as they release the new round and rifle.
