Hey say that nobody ever mentioned RemOil.

That cheap stuff from Walmart...Love the smell of it (it's strong don't jam your nose in a bottle) and I like the viscosity I can spray and wipe down everything inside of the AR platform

It also seems to remove carbon when you let it soak.

If it works for you ,then don't change, but I prefer a foaming solvent like WipeOut.
    Keep it simple!

I've used Rem-oil on the final wipe down for blued firearms for decades and it works great.

I love it in the spray can, it's my household lube. Works great in door locks, hinges, etc.

I found it too thin for guns, it evaporates quickly in an AR. For guns I use Slip 2000 products.

It is a little thin, I use CLP for most gun chores. But I respray a RemWipe micro fiber rag down after it dries out every 4-6 months, with RemOil Spray and keep it in a zip-loc bag. I use it to wipe down the finish on guns after I handle them or regularly wipe my carry gun slides.

Same here, except I use CLP instead of Slip2000. Remoil is way too thin/doesn't stick to surfaces.

I've used Remoil for years. A sample of Lucas came with a new pistol and I like that its a little thicker.

I switched when I got a free sample of Slip from BCM, never looked back. Works better, no smell, non-toxic.

I use rem oil for certain things. not really a cleaner, or a dedicated lube.

Say i clean an AR, if I use any type of brake clean, or carb clean to blast out the trigger pocket it usually leaves a white residue where it runs off. After I'm done cleaning the gun, i'll do a light mist of Rem Oil on the gun and wipe it off. It cleans it all off and makes it look nice. It also evaporates so nothing really is dripping off, or feels oily on your fingers when you grab it later.

If I'm at the range, and the chamber is a bit dry or not feeding good, i'll blast a squirt and it usually frees up anything hanging up. Like my SKS and m1 garand were having trouble loading the first round out of the clip. I hit it with rem oil and instantly everything was moving good again.

Its not really my thing to lube a BCG, as its too thin and evaporates off quite quick.

It works good in a pinch for most anything, and even around the house kinda like a wd-40 type, but for weapons

Remember not to mix cleaning solutions. If rem oil works for all of your guns, then keep doing it.

Yes, I use it for everything except bathing.

Remoil is great for things I don't actually want oiled, like shotgun trigger groups.
