    thermold mags?

Anyone have a clue where to find some 10 rounder thermolds? It seems like everywhere I look they are sold out or people haven't heard of them. It's almost like pmags and other high quality ones are all gone. Anyone have an idea where to find some?

Thank you for the links, some of them I have already seen, but its helpful. I should have given the caliber I was looking for!

.223/5.56 for my Keltec is what these mags are for, in any case though seems like every place has them out of stock.

If you're just looking for high quality mags, get the CProducts 10rd. Great mag, inexpensive.

If you're really that hung up on Thermold, well, have fun not shooting

I have some Thermold that I purchased back in 98ish or so, I can remember they were a giant pain in the butt to remove from the mag well. I have not used them since.

The last Thermold mags I owned were 30rd'ers. They were excellent, reliable mags. Today I would just take a Pmag over them, but they are still great mags.

Yea these are simply more mags to add to the collection, have some dpms waffle mags, some D&H ones, some stock keltecs and a pro mag( I have no clue as to why people hate these mags).

Yea I was able to see a couple thermolds at a range a few weeks ago and simply was looking into them, although at the moment pmags look to be just as difficult to get. I'm sorta looking at switching over to the whole synthetic/plastic magazine material, or w/e they do make them out of nowadays. Are the Cmags 10 round standard or aftermarket fixed with like a buffer/block to prevent more than 10?

CProducts makes a native/factory 10rd'er with the CProducts follower. Like I said earlier, they are actually very nice mags. Definitely better than the D&H factory 10's, and about the same price.

Any links possibly? Is the standard cproducts follower an anti-tilt follower? 4

When it came to the thermold mag you had, did it seem solid? I had read that the Canadian military ones were somewhat less than satisfactory with problems.

As far as the Thermolds, they were great. The problem with Canadian military Thermolds is that when the Canadians licensed the mags and started producing them they didn't use the correct plastic which Thermold specifically recommended to them. Due to the Canadians stupid decisions, the mags would heat up and the feed lips would either melt or become deformed.

The ones I had were proper American-made Thermolds, made by Thermold with the correct plastic. Back then ammo was cheaper and I did lots of mag-dumps with no magazine issues at all. The mag fit nice and tight in the magwell, with no wiggling, but dropped free after hitting the magazine release very similar to the Pmag today.

Aye I'll definitely take a look at that cproduct one. Yea I had heard that the Canadian Thermolds were basically plagued with failures. In any case it may be one heck if a long time before i can pick one up, but i got money to spend so ill probably pick up some of the Cmags.

With all this being said, why not just buy Pmags?
