Thank You for Design Help On Featureless Stock

A while back, some patient people at CalGuns helped me develop an idea for a billet aluminum machined featureless stock. The first version with textured grips was completed last week. I was absolutely blown away with how good the stock feels.

I could not take every suggestion made on the thread, but I did make it compatible with the MagPul recoil pad. I changed the shape a bit to make a compromise between a suggestion and what existed. I did lengthen the grip to accommodate larger hands. There are 2 versions, one has the sling attachment in the middle (shown) and on at the end.

I am sending these out to be polished and then hard anodized.

    Thanks everyone for helping!

Both are designed to be comfortably tucked into the shoulder area.

9-11 oz, depending on recoil pad selection.

I like it OP! Maybe some Black Anodizing would make that thing cool.

Awesome design but I have a question. The actual stock (what you shoulder) is that attached by 2 screws? Is there a reasoning for that? Modular? Wouldn't it be more of a solid build of it was just one piece? Just curios to know why you went that route?

Can you show us a full rifle picture instead of just the rear?

I talked to some people who own gun stores in Southern California. The top price they are willing to pay for the unit is about $5 more than it cost to make it. I understand that they need to make their profit but there are much easier ways for me to make money.

That being said, I will be making a limited number and taking them to Southern California gun shows starting in April. They may sell or they may not but I can be satisfied that I provided another option.
