Flamethrowing normal from a 18" barrel?

So I took out the ULV1 again, weather was garbage so I went indoors to mess around.

Is this much flame normal? This brake that they are using is absolutely concussive to the stalls to the left and right of me, and pretty crazy for myself. Its loud than my 26" barreled AR10 with JP Large Muzzle brake.

There is zero recoil for the most part, but i have never seen an AR shoot flames this hard. Its done it with American Eagle XM ammo and PMC ammo

-- I love the mythological significance given to Dum Dum Bullets. As if they're little tactical nukes, stacked up in "Assault Clips" ready to be "sprayfired" "from the hip" by pistol grip equipped "bullet hoses" instead of early variations of the softpoint bullets people have been using to take game with (and use for self-defense) for the last century.

Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
    (thanks to Jeff Cooper)

With brakes and PMC, fireballs are common

My new 300blk 16" has a bigger fireball than my 5.56 7". Pretty amazed that all the powder should of been gone by the time the bullet leaves the barrel.

I should take the 20" braked AR10 to the indoor 25 yard range.
