Turners does it again

It was the most-requested muzzle brake for a previous test so it was included in the flash hider test even though it is not a flash hider.. So it is legal for CA. Stop spreading FUD.
Turner's tends to be overly cautious about what they sell and errs on the side of being legally safe and will not touch anything they might think is anywhere close to the gray area.Anyone can look around and see the damage to the state and country inflicted by bad politicians.
A vote is clearly much more dangerous than a gun.
Why advocate restrictions on one right (voting) without comparable restrictions on another (self defense) (or, why not say 'Be a U.S. citizen' as the requirement for CCW)?

Those that mentioned said brake as having flash reducing characteristics aren't just pulling crap out of their ***.
I don't agree that it redirects or reduces flash, but it was originally stated on the manufacturer's website as well as vendors that sell the brake that it reduced one's flash signature.
Fortunately, they've changed the wording but the advertising still exists. This is one of those grey areas that some would rather not tread. Remember, CA DOJ does not tell us what's legal; they simply tell us what isn't legal.Originally posted by longrange1my gun shoots better with shiny brass...plus not only does the shiny brass make me look like a pimp at the range if the sun catches it just right it blinds the guy next to me which improves my odds of winning the match.Originally posted by XDJYoFull size. I'm curious...has there been any assault weapons charges or convictions outside of cases where it's an add-on (say a drug dealer gets busted for selling coke and during the raid they find a non-compliant AR).
I'm wondering if anyone has been popped solely for having an unregistered AW.
I am a criminal defense attorney in OC and while I haven't personally had one come through my office, I am aware of such cases and I do personally know a subject matter expert who has testified in these cases.Comment

Some say that he once mooned two prostitutes just for a round of drinks, but wasn't surprised by the reply......They call him, the Hutch
Some say that he rode a dirtbike 7k miles across the country and that he once applied Bengay to his own testicles for a mere $50............They call him, the Hutch -Top Gear

Glad to see they're quick to adapt this time. I remember when Off-List Lowers first started to hold ground, and they wouldn't touch the things with a 10' pole.My iTrader ratings: https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/....php?t=1887974Comment

I remember when Turners refused to sell rifles with BB's installed.Comment

I can't comment on Turner's staff at other locations, but ones at the Reseda location are either poorly trained/misinformed or willfully dishonest. The things I've heard them tell potential firearms purchasers made me smh. Hopefully these people did their own homework and aren't relying on Turner's for all their firearms knowledge.Too many rifles, not enough time...Comment

The employees at Turners aren't experts, enthusiasts, or anything else. They probably make $11hr, and know just enough about the guns they sell to get them off the shelves.Comment

Some of the folks at Reseda are nice, but overall, they're all FUD dispensers. On the opposite end, there's definitely something to be said about customers grabbing a ticket to ask them questions instead of doing their own research online. Can't tell ya how many times I've had to sit there listening to someone ask "which AR is better." At that point, you've opened yourself up to personal opinions, subjective opinions, and misinformation.

I've seen that very conversation take shape - somehow the salesperson made some odd comparison between some car models, and the customer ended up buying a S&W M&P-22.My iTrader ratings: https://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/....php?t=1887974Comment
