    Best stock'ish trigger ...

    ... for a Poly lower?

I'm building a 21st Century 22WMR AR full featured rifle on a Tennessee Arms poly lower. Engraving of my choice (embedded steel plate).

I'd like a nice 3~5 lb trigger in the standard configuration without a gritty feeling or a long first stage. I will not be putting a Geissele or anything like that in it. I'd like to keep the lower parts kit to around $100 (not including pistol grip - already in hand). I want come out with a decent trigger...

Might now be as light as you want it but PSA's trigger has had good feedback. You could also try an ALG QMS or ACT.

Polish job with JP yellow springs ($10-15) will give you 3-4lb pull. Plenty of vids on YouTube that shows how and what to polish on the trigger and hammer.

Did the same thing. Works great and used the money I saved on ammo

I have been happy with the psa polished nib trigger group with jp yellow Springs, about 50 bucks for both if you get the psa trigger group when it's on sale for $30
The actual value of above $.02 is less than $.01 after taxes.

Get a cheap trigger the lower won't last long anyway.

I have three of the PSA polished triggers with the JP "reliability" spring kit that has the slightly heavier hammer spring. Never had a light strike, one is notable shorter in regards to pull length than the rest but all very smooth. Not something for precise long range shooting but great for a fun gun or self defense

I have nib fcg with no yellow springs an I get a few light strikes from time to time. Think of charging to the reliability spring. Sounds like they work well for you.
