I think I saw some sort of adaptor at Midway, I remember because it said "gunsmith installation required"

HS Precision DM kit works great. Depending on the stock, you may need to do a little bit of inletting.
      This is a .308 26" SPS short action with a B&C A5 stock and 20moa EGW base.

Nice rifle. i went with their medalist stock on my 700.

how do you like the EGW base. im getting a 20moa base and i was looking at the nightforce and egw. But i read the the EGW may need to be drilled out?

And i appreciate the help also ive been looking into doing the same. but $300 is a bit pricey for me. Making one that could use AR10 mags would be *****ing though. Now if i only had the machinery.

It's the right price and the fit is flawless. I guess in the past they were shipping them with the wrong size screws or something but the newer ones, if you order directly from EGW, comes with the right size countersunk hex screws, no need to drill anything anymore. The shorter screws goes in the front holes and the longer screws goes in the rear holes if you get the 15 or 20 moa base.

but will it work with .308win rounds?

10 round mag. When is the last time you saw a factory 10 rounder? A Ruger rep said they haven't been made since the late 70's
dot hey still make aftermarket 10 rounders?

that's what mecam has... they're not cheap!
you're = you are; your = belonging to you
they're = they are; their = belonging to them; there = not here
than = to indicate a comparison; then = to indicate a point in time
