    AK de-conversion

Going back to sporter mode on my Saiga for now instead of rocking a grip wrap etc. registration B.S.

Anyone know where to score 2 replacement pins for the ones that I drilled out originally when converting?

Try giving Carolina Shooters Supply a call.

Try calling Krebs Custom. I'm sure they have left over parts from all the Saiga conversions they did.

Are those just long rivets or was it a removable pin? If they are just rivets, I might have some

I do have a bunch of rivets, could you maybe measure the rivet size and I'll see if I have it.

Kind of hard to see but it looks like .218"? I have three different sizes maybe the thicker one will work. Let me know I can send you a few of each

It's not a standard hardware piece.
It's a stepped pin with a hollow end.
It was made by the factory.
In use, the gun gets assembled and then the ends of those two pins are flared to lock them in place.
Everyone drills out the end of that pin when they remove them, so even if you had old ones, they are not really re-usable.

A solution for people that want to go BACK to a Saiga configuration could be made to accept screws on one end to be able to re-assemble the old saiga parts with new pins.
