    saiga conversion?

Can i still get my stock saiga converted?
Im not totally sure how the new laws affect this but i imagine that someone
could do the work on the receiver and then i can install the "evil" features
    or register.

    Thanks!

You can only convert it to featureless but you can do all the work yourself except for replacing the front sight and threading the barrel.

Law says that it had to be in the "evil config" before 1/1/17 to be legal to register

You can convert it to a standard Akm and throw a grip wrap on there. But I'd suggest keeping it Unconverted and sporterized. I think the feel and control the shooter has on its normal rifle stock is so much greater than a pistol grip with a grip wrap

This is why last year I posted this:

I'll post pics later. Hoakey, but leaves me the option to convert them later. Or not.

Don't ruin the gun. Buy another ak.

              A "stock" Saiga is featureless.

Deckhandmike is right. You've got a perfectly good AK keeping your Saiga as it is. If you want another, buy a wasr with a grip wrap

Are you asking if you can install a bullet button and evil features on a STOCK featureless Saiga today? I'd say answer is no. That be manufacturing an AW at this point.

I wouldn't worry about it though.. You arent missing out on much. Last year, I converted a Stock Saiga .223 to having a BB and evil features. While it came out awesome, I did it thinking we'd be able to remove Bullet Buttons. Now that it seems that isnt that case, I'm kinda bummed.

Basically ruined a perfectly good semi-auto/detachable mag rifle.
